The localeye website is intended to provide comprehensive access to online offerings in Christchurch and Canterbury.
Localeye selects content available on other sites and links to that content under the following conditions:
- The material "lives" in Christchurch or Canterbury or is about Christchurch and Canterbury.
- Appropriate material from outside the region may be selected to supplement resources, eg Central Government material which merges or interacts with other processes exposed by Localeye.
- Selected sites will be functional.
- Selection will be based on usefulness, accuracy and legality.
- Content will be suitable for viewing by all ages.
- The site is more than just a personal web site, although these may be considered in the future.
Localeye is happy to receive details of sites we don't yet have listed.
