Maori Language Week

Christchurch Arts Festival 26 July - 12 August The 2007 programme is a strong and vibrant presentation of the best of local and international arts. Iconic New Zealand artists are represented across all forms of the arts.

New Zealand International Film Festival 2 - 19 August
Founded in 1977, this Festival functions as a showcase sample of the international Festival circuit.

The 32nd Maori Language Week will be held from Monday 23 – Sunday 29 July. There is a double focus this year: getting ‘On the Road with te Reo' and using ‘Kia ora’ every day.
