Finding out what is happening in the tertiary sectorYou can learn a lot about what is happening in local tertiary institutions from simply reading newspapers, watching tv, and listening to the radio. Another way of finding out what is new and notable is to check the organisation's web site: Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology (CPIT) has a page of latest news and events as well as a section of press releases. The University of Canterbury has its own online newsroom, with interesting articles on current research at the University and information on events and activities. There are links into university publications such as the Chronicle and the diary. Lincoln University also has a news and information page which features news releases and links to Infolinc and other newsletters.
